The transition from "baby" to "toddler" seemed to happen over night. One day I have a baby who doesn't want to leave my arms, cries when other people hold him, and falls asleep most nights while I rock him. Suddenly, I have a toddler who is very opinionated, wants to walk everywhere (still holding onto a hand), and throws fits when he doesn't get his way. While this transition has brought a few-alright SEVERAL-tears to my eyes, it's so fun watching my baby become a little boy. I love watching him crack himself up, learn to say new words-"oh" and "wow" are new favorites- and give kisses (open mouth slobbers but I'll take what I can get!). I am in love with his sweet and funny personality!
