There's a blog I've been following for about a year now. It's a young woman in her early 20's who moved to Africa to love & serve the people there. Over the course of a few years she has adopted FOURTEEN children. Her story is amazing and her heart is something I so admire. Whenever I get caught up in life & forget my purpose- to serve & love God & others- I go to her blog. I am HUMBLED every time I read it. I am CHALLENGED to love God & BE JESUS to those around me. (I don't always do a great job at this though!) I truly believe the heart of Christianity is simply showing people WHO JESUS IS. He is merciful, gracious, compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love. This woman is the embodiment of Christ.
